We need additional dump trucks to transport trashes in Cengkareng area maximally
Cengkareng Sub-District Cleanliness Section is complaining the lack of dump truck fleet. Whereas, from eight sub-districts in West Jakarta, Cengkareg Sub-District is the biggest waste producer.
Head of Cengkareng Sub-District Cleanliness Section, Abdul Rahim expressed as many as 299 trashes can be produced in his area. To transport them to Bantar Gebang Landfill, Bekasi City, he can only operate 17 dump trucks belonging Jakarta Cleanliness Department and 13 dump trucks from self-management aid as well as three other units borrowed from Public Works Ministry.

Of the 17 dump trucks, most of them are unworthy or already aged over 15 years. They should be rejuvenated. "In details, 4 trucks were damaged in April and we only operate 13 units. Of course, our work does not maximal," he expressed.
Besides that, his party also urges West Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department to add trash depot in Cengkareng. Currently, there are only three depots which located at RW 15 Durikosambi Urban Village, RW 12 Kapuk Urban Village and RW 05 Cengkareng Barat Urban Village.
Head of West Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Wahyu Widyastuti expressed West Jakarta only have 159 unworthy dump trucks. "Rejuvenation plan is still in proposal phase. Hopefully, it can be realized soon," he uttered.
